Built for people who are out all day and just want a good room to come back to
Bowls tournaments, road trips, work in George — our guests leave early and get back late, and what they want is simple. A clean, comfortable room. Fresh towels and bedding. Fast WiFi. Secure parking close to the door. A kitchen if you're staying the week. And in the middle of it all, a braai area with beautiful lighting at night, where the guests who arrived as strangers end up sitting together. The rooms are tastefully appointed with a modern look and a proper colour scheme — everything you'd need is on hand. Our hostess Kittie is around if you need something, and out of your way if you don't. One guest even had her washing done for her. That's the guesthouse: quiet, neat, genuinely helpful, and a short drive from town.

Before you book
What time can I check in?
Reception is open 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, and 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you're arriving outside those hours, WhatsApp us on 083 228 0401 beforehand and we'll arrange it.
Is there parking, and will my vehicle fit?
Yes — secure parking close to the rooms. Guests do note the bays are a tight squeeze, so message us with your vehicle size before you arrive and we'll point you to the best spot.
Can I self-cater or braai?
Yes. We have a room unit with a kitchen, and a braai area in the centre of the rooms that guests are welcome to use — it's lit at night and it's where most people end up. Note the braai area is open to the sky, so keep an eye on the weather.
What should I pack?
Bring your own soap, face cloth and bathroom floor mat — a guest has flagged that these aren't always supplied. Towels and bedding are provided fresh, and the WiFi is fast.
