Our story

A place that stays out of your way until you need it

Green Pastures is a small guesthouse on Johan Heunis Crescent, built around a shared braai area with lighting that comes into its own after dark. The rooms are modern and tastefully done, with fresh towels and bedding, and parking right by your door. Guests have come for bowls tournaments, for work, for a break from the city — some for a night, some for a week in the units with a kitchen. What they mention afterwards is the same: everything was clean, everything was comfortable, and the welcome was friendly without ever crowding them. That is exactly how we like it.

When can I check in?

Reception is open 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday to Friday and 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Arrive inside those hours where you can, and WhatsApp us on 083 228 0401 if your travel plans put you outside them.

Is there a braai area?

Yes — it sits in the middle of the rooms and is lit at night. Guests consistently mention it as a highlight. It is an open area, so keep an eye on the weather.

Can you take a family of four?

We have family units, but be specific with us when you book. The family studio is best for two adults and two young children rather than four adults, and we'd rather place you correctly than have you arrive to the wrong bed.
